- How will the METRO HOV lane be impacted?

The current proposed improvements will relocate METRO's operations from the existing HOV to the proposed managed lanes on the Hempstead Corridor. Access to the managed lanes will occur at METRO's Park and Ride facility at West Road, as well as from proposed direct connectors to US 290 near Huffmeister, and Mason Road, and entrance/exit ramps near various cross-streets through the corridor. Additionally, the managed lanes will have direct connections to IH 610, the Northwest Transit Center, and Old Katy Road.
