Project E Construction Pictures - May 2015
Here the contractor pours concrete for the new inbound US 290 frontage road just east of SH 6. Once the concrete is poured, crews work to remove any excess air. Too much air can create “honeycombing,” or holes in the concrete.
Project F Construction Pictures - May 2015
These images show how most of the inbound US 290 widened mainlane bridge structure over Eldridge has been completed. Most of the widened inbound mainlane bridge structure over West Road and Jones has been completed as well.
Project G Construction Pictures - May 2015
The left image shows the new outbound US 290 frontage road at W. Little York in the foreground. In the background, crews clear space for the new westbound Collector-Distributor. That roadway will consolidate outbound US 290 merging and diverging movements, improving traffic flow through the US 290/Beltway 8 interchange. On the right, crews work to complete the new outbound US 290 frontage road near Senate Avenue.
Project I Construction Pictures - May 2015
On the left, crews pour concrete for the new outbound US 290 frontage road between Antoine Drive and W. 43rd Street. At right, workers prepare storm sewer for installation along the inbound US 290 frontage road at Bingle.

Project K Construction Pictures - May 2015
The picture shows a wide view, from the north looking south, of the work occurring at the I-610/US 290 interchange.
In the above image, traffic in the middle travels along the new inbound US 290 connector to eastbound I-610. Just above that traffic you can see the new eastbound I-610 mainlanes, on which work is progressing as part of Project J-1 construction.
